We seek a candidate to help fill a new position for our projects across the Greater Toronto Area. As our business continues to grow, we have decided to add a building Commissioning Agent to our team. The successful candidate must be familiar with HVAC and BAS & plumbing equipment/systems, have perfect command, and have fluency in English, as client interaction will be a key component of success. Excellent command and expertise with Microsoft Office are a must.
- Independently lead the commissioning process for building systems, including HVAC, BAS, and plumbing.
- Collaborate with the project team, consultants and contractors on project planning and execution.
- Develop complex functional performance test reports.
- Develop commissioning documentation, checklists and plans.
- Participate in site and client meetings to support the commissioning process.
- Review designs and installation of site equipment, ensuring compliance with plans.
- Prepare and manage commissioning documents, including site reports and status updates.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and develop meeting minutes.
- Inspect and verify commercial building systems for compliance and efficiency.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in building commissioning, focusing on HVAC, BAS, and plumbing systems.
- Experience in developing commissioning documentation and participating in design reviews.
- Ability to read and understand HVAC and plumbing drawings and symbols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and personal vehicle with insurance for site visits.
